Cheap Pet InsuranceYou've come to the right place for cheap pet insurance. One in three pets require veterinary treatment every year. Pet insurance allows you to not only cover vet bills, but many pet insurances also cover straying/theft, missing advertising/reward, accidental damage, third party liability and even a death benefit. |

Pet
insurance will tend to go up as the pet gets older. Pets, like humans,
tend to have more going wrong with them as they get older.
Some cheap pet insurance policies will stop paying for treatment for your pet after a year, this can obviously be a problem if your pet suffers an ongoing condition, like arthritis or a skin complaint. Read all of the small print. Cheap pet insurance policies are unlikely to cover your pet for conditions that existed before the pet insurance was taken out, or for vaccinations, spaying/castration or for flea treatments. |

General Advice The best piece of general advice that can be given about pet insurance and you have heard it many times before is to shop around. If you get ten cheap pet insurance policy quotes the chances are the most expensive will cost twice what the cheapest costs! If you are with a pet insurance company you like and trust and you receive a lower quote from another pet insurance company. Why not contact your current pet insurance company at renewal time and ask them to match the offer. You will find that quite often they are prepared to do so. Remember, all pet insurance policies are not created equal. Check the small print to see what extras might be bundled in the policy that be useful to you for cars, windscreen insurance, courtesy car in the event of an accident, full european cover, protected no claims bonus etc. Remember, any cheap pet insurance company no matter how reputable, will probably not pay out in the event of you providing misleading information. Again for cars, those alloy wheels you put on must be declared. If you are a student, you cannot claim you are living at your parents address even if you live there two days out of seven. Or if you claim you have a full no claims bonus but have not, then you could be in trouble if you have an accident. |
